AdvisorCensus reports
AdvisorCensus publishes reports built from the same Form ADV filings that power the directory: annual reports on metros, fees, and custodians, quarterly reports on AI visibility and firm formation, and a monthly report on new registrations and the month's filing changes. Each report carries its own charts, a summary table, and a downloadable CSV, and states the period and sources it is drawn from.

How the reports are built
Every figure in a report is computed from filed data with the period it comes from: the SEC's monthly Investment Adviser Information Reports, the IAPD compilation feeds for state-registered advisers, the SEC's Form ADV filing data and Part 2A brochure archives, OMB metropolitan delineations, and Census Bureau household figures. The methodology for each report is printed with the report. Reports describe markets; they do not rate, rank, or recommend firms.
